Welcome tostilldawn, a Final Fantasy/Resident Evil psl. We're looking to form a group of roughly 10 active players to explore the horror and camaraderie of a zombie outbreak. Please note that the role play is set in an alternate universe, so canon histories and relationships from both games may be altered to better fit the premise.
As an elite member of SeeD, you are sent to investigate the recent wave of disturbing reports surrounding Galbadia Garden. Several towns in the area have been subject to strange animal attacks and unexplained murders, and the lack of response from the local government is highly suspicious. Once inside, you'll find that it's considerably less easy to get back out.
For as long as anyone can remember, the totalitarian nation of Galbadia has waged war against the rest of the world. In an effort to protect themselves, several nations begin the construction of Gardens; training academies designed to hone the local youth into soldiers of the peace. Later the SeeD program is put into effect, deploying the most talented students all over the world as government sponsored mercenaries for hire.
As his once formidable army is matched in number, President Deling turns his eyes toward the next stage in warfare: biological weapons. Gathering a team of world renowned scientists, later dubbed Umbrella, they begin research into the field of virology. The final product is the T-Virus, a powerful cross-species mutagen. Able to infect plant, mammal, reptiles and birds, the T-Virus is documented to cause extreme growth in some species; and in all of them, extremely violent behavior.
Looking to test the virus in human subjects, the T-Virus is introduced to several of Galbadia Garden's most prized students. The end result is cataclysmic. All test subjects exhibit signs of illness and die shortly after their "treatments" -- only to rise again as mindless, blood thirsty monsters. In spite of every effort to quarantine the infection, nearly the entire staff and student body are dead within a week. A month passes in silence, with President Deling having cut all communications to and from the Garden in an effort to hide his involvement. Who is to say what horrors the T-virus has since created?
